We are a small rural community council in the County of Monmouthshire, South East Wales, lying half way between the towns of Abergavenny and Monmouth and extending to the north and south of the B4233 road.

Our community council area comprises the three wards of Llantilio Crossenny, Penrhos and Llanvihangel Ystern Llewern/Talycoed. There are 580 electors in our area represented by nine community councillors who provide their services as volunteers. Six councillors represent the Llantilio Ward, two represent Penrhos and one the Llanvihangel/Tal y coed Ward. We have a part time Clerk who is responsible for administrative and financial matters.

Our community council holds its meetings at Cross Ash Village Hall on the third Tuesday in February, May (a.g.m.), August and November at 7.30pm to discuss matters of concern and interest within our community and to consider planning applications and highways issues.
Members of the public are most welcome to attend our meetings, and ten minutes are allocated at the beginning of every meeting for members of the public to raise any matters for comment and attention.
